Battery installation
Open the back cover of the alcohol tester.
Please put a 6LR61 9V alkaline battery (the factory does not contain the battery), to ensure that the positive and negative poles are prevented from being correct.
When the battery is low, a prompt will appear on the screen, and the tester may not work properly. Please turn off the power and replace it with a new one.
The tester can also be operated by connecting a cigarette lighter device using a 12V DC power adapter.
If the tester is not used for a long time, please test it after replacing the battery.

Precautions

Do not use or store the tester in a place with contaminated gas.
Avoid dropping or hitting the tester.
If the tester is not used for more than one week, it will need to be recalibrated. Before the test, turn off the power after warming up, and repeat this several times.
Please test after 15 minutes after drinking.

Steps
The tester can also be used without a mouthpiece, and the mouthpiece is inserted in the place where the air is blown.

Warm up

Please test the tester before turning it on.
Please turn the button on the right side of the tester to the “ON” position, wait 15 seconds, the countdown (10,9,8,...,0) will appear on the screen to remind the warm-up, then “WAIT” will appear on the screen. .

ready
After the 10 second warm-up is completed, the “WAIT” on the screen will disappear and “READY” will be displayed.

Blow test
When “READY” is displayed on the tester's screen, blow air (more than 2 seconds) to test the alcohol concentration in the breath.

The test result will be displayed on the screen. When the result is 0.25mg/l (0.05% or 0.500‰) or more, the alcohol concentration is too high to prohibit driving.

When the test result is 0.50mg/l (0.100% or 1.000‰) or above, the tester will not display the specific data and will display “HI” and sound an alarm (the tester can only display the test below 0.50mg/l) As a result, driving should be prohibited at this time.

Reset
From the last test, wait for 30 seconds to reset.
Press and hold the “reset” button to retest. The countdown from 10 to 0 will be displayed on the screen.
Blow when the “READY” is displayed on the screen.

Test memory function
You can view the results of the first 5 tests by pressing the “memory” button.

Backlight function
When the light is dark or used at night, slide the button on the right side of the tester to the “light” to turn on the screen backlight.
After each use, please shake the tester a few times.

Power saving alarm function
The auto power off alarm will appear after the tester stops detecting 30 faces.
Press “reset” to retest.
Turn off the right button and slide the button to the “OFF” position.
